Wild Mile II Trial Data Run

DO, pH, ORP, Turbidity, Conductivity, and Temperature Monitoring station trial run on the Wild Mile in the North Branch of the Chicago River on Urban Rivers’ Floating Islands. This was to do a trial run on the AT600’s sensors and also cross-check data with the Wild Mile 1 deployment above. Data is also available on HydroVu under Wild Mile 2.

Lake Okeechobee is Florida’s largest lake, and is used by many industries, from municipalities and industry to personal uses such as recreation and as a habitat for wildlife. It is becoming increasing affected by leaching, which affects personal uses such as fishing and safety in its waters. Lately, Lake Okeechobee has seen it discharge toxic algae that eventually brings way to red tide, which is a major issue in Florida and an extreme detriment to human and marine health.
